If you truly have a lesion resulting from a burn do not "pop" it. The overlying skin and fluid protect the underlying dermis and subcutaneous tissues.

If the vesicle or "blister" is very large or painful, ask a physician to drain it. This would be performed after preparing the skin with germicidal medication and then using a tuberculin needle and syringe to aspirate it allowing the skin covering to remain intact.

What you don't want to do which you run the risk of doing by "popping it" is to:

1. Cause a bacterial infection of the lesion.
2. Increased the chances of scarring.
3. Remove natural protective barriers.

I hope this is helpful.

Leave it alone. If you pop it, it will expose the skin underneath and can cause an infection. The blister will drain on its own in time. Also, don't bandage the blister unless you need to keep it from rubbing against clothes.

For more information, see the webmd article on sunburns...the same treatment applies to first-degree burns.

Leave it alone. The blister is protecting the tissue underneath, even if it's not doing it quite as well as usual. Popping the blister exposes the tissue to bacteria and the elements in general. Bandage the area, keep it clean, and allow it to break on its own as it heals. When it does break, clean the area, apply an ointment such as Neosporin if it's still "raw," and re-bandage it. Change the dressing at least once a day until it is sufficiently healed to go without a bandage.

The blister could look undesirable yet you're able to no longer pop the blister, in case you accomplish that which you're able to go through discomfort for an afternoon or on the instant. The liquid interior that's organic, and modern-day it healing your wound. So wait!!. it is going to ultimately pop on it very own. And after it pops, drain the liquid and the blistered section. save it sparkling (utilising a band-help isn't a undesirable thought). look ahead to it to heal by utilising itself.

It is BEST to leave the blister alone. It will absorb back into the tissue. To pop it opens a portal for infection.

Burn ointment and bandage with blister intact.

If you pop it you have the possibility of an infection. If you don't pop it the fluid in it will be reabsorbed and will disappear.
