If you have to ask the difference between "ancestry" or "ancestors" etc then you do not know...

spanish - ascendencia
french - ascendance
Portugese - ancestry
German - Geschlecht
Italian - ascendenza
Dutch - voorgeslacht

antiguos means old while ascedencia means ancestry

In spanish it's ascendencia, antepasados, or linaje

antiguo can mean ancient, old fashioned or former
ascendencia means ancestry, origin

in italian if you mean like "ancestors" it's "antenati" or "progenitori".
