36 is not correct, that for CVH, your zetec should have one around 65-70k or every 5 years.
personally i'd get it changed for piece of mind along with the tensioner.

it really amazes me that all you people asking this sort of question do not have a workshop manual - EVERYTHING you need to know is in there ! first thing i do when i get a " new " bike or car is to buy one , they are invaluable .

in most cases yes, it's time to do it. they aren't valve benders so it's not mandatory.
