Excellent question. I really feel he was. He was definitely trying to teach the Jewish religious officials something very different than what they were presenting to the people. He was not establishing his own church he was just trying to change the way people thought. The people wanted Barabas and not Jesus so I feel there was a huge movement against him. It was only after Paul's arrival that we start to see a beginnings of a church.

i dont think he's pleased to know how we broke up the body of Christ cause we wanted to take the scriptures for our own benefits. its too much confusion and it causes strife amongst his people. thats why at the present time i have church at my house with me and God. i dont disagree with church but i havent found one that im comfortable at.
