Hector Camacho wasn't too bad, see him when he won the title against Bazooka Limo and against Jose Luis Ramirez. His hands were so fast they never knew what hit them.

As in fastest you must mean fastest punching boxer to claim a title. Well I can give a few names of fast punching boxers to claim titles: Floyd Mayweather Jr., Zab Judah, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Jr., Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Jack Dempsey, Mike Tyson, etc. etc. etc. This is question is kind of broad because there was so many fast punching champions over the whole history of boxing there would have to be a better brakedown of the question.

The fastest heavyweight was Jimmy Young. He was quite a bit faster than Ali even. No power though and he never held the title because Don King's hand-picked crooked judges robbed him against Ali. I think probably Ray Leonard takes the title in the mid-classes. In the light classes, there are so many. I think Pac-man's left might be the fastest KO punch in any class! I am currently re-watching all of Salvador Sanchez' great fights. In those, both Azumah Nelson and Juan LaPorte could punch very fast!

Of the heavyweights, I would venture for all his plaudits and achievements that Muhammed Ali takes a close second to Floyd Patterson for fast hands.
Though of course Roy Jones was a flashing blade at the higher weight versus John Ruiz.
Elsewhere. There are too many to judge, and obviously, lighter fighters are naturally quicker.
Pound for pound, perhaps Sugar Ray Leonard would be a good choice.

Meldrick Taylor and Hector Camacho were title holders, so it would be them two, along with guys like Roy Jones, Mayweather, Ali, Tyson, etc.
edit: Hey Matt M, Sugar Ray ROBINSON was the best P4P in Ali's view, not Leonard.

I'd say that Muhammad Ali was the fastest puncher, though not necessarily the hardest puncher. In his prime his left jab was a joy to behold and he also possessed a rather potent right lead which he used to great effect when he regained his title against George Foreman in 1974.

if your just referring to hand speed, then in the heavy division alone louis, patterson, tyson and ali are considered to have the fastest hands. in other divisions, benny leonard, sugar ray leonard, khaosai galaxy, meldric taylor, sugar ray robinson too name but a few.
