I felt this way the first time a year ago when I lost many things at the same time... I have been spending a very hard time while I was optimist before that about how things always come for the best to us...
A year later, I retrieve my faith as I know...yes I lost all those things coz still having them would make my life miserable later.... and I have better things now...
Thank God...
Thank you for this Question...
Peace!

Lost faith in God when I realized faith has nothing to do with reality.

Never had faith in it. It always seemed silly like the Fantasy stories parents would read to you full of Dragons and Wizards and fiery demons.

Even when I was a Christian I could never see any mercy that this god was supposed to have. He's a vengeful, jealous god whio needs constant praise and worship
Not my kind of guy

When I found out that he was an unnecessary a priori agent.
When I found enough information to realize that free will is a literal impossibility in this universe, and that without free will, theism is entirely meaningless.
When I found out that the prayer-tested visions I had of the Crucifixion had mundane and logical explanations.
In short -- when I ceased basing my quest for Truth on emotion and instead placed it firmly in the certainty of logical inquiry.

I lost my faith when it became clear to me that the foundation of my faith was a lie.

i didn't lose faith. i never had it.
and the reason i never had it is because the concept of a god is a logical improbability. and in the fact of the judeo-christian/muslim god, it is, in fact, a logical impossibility.

When I realized I was worshipping the wrong God.
Here's a wager for you:
What if god would only reward those who had enough courage not to believe in him.
To bad your going to burn in hell for not accepting my wager.

see brother this confirmation and repetition, and then come and lose hope and faith................ this would be a total ignorance and lack of faith.
Subhan Allah and Al Hamdulliah rab al alameen.
