I have nothing against you. In most cases I understand where you are coming from. Have been in the church world all my life and there's not much that would shock me any more, or less.
I have many friends who are atheists and agnostic, and others who have left the faith and still believe. No matter what, we each respect each other, and are not vicious just because one believes something different.
I still have the right to say to each of you as I always do for my friends... God bless you.<><

Thanks, God bless you, too. If I understand atheism, then why does it matter to them what we believe, and why try to convert us out of Christianity?

Part of the reason I come to R&S is to start a fight. I come with both barrels blazing. I try to find questions good Christians can't leave alone nd yet there is no right answers. One answers will show the Bible lies or is contradictory. theother direction might show Christians as very un-Christian people. And here is why I do that. I was raised a Catholic until I was a 10 year old altar boy. When a priest stuck his hand down my pants, I realized 1.) if he is God's representative on Earth, I wanted no part of that God. Or 2.) that particular religion is a false religion and deserves to be stopped from doing any more damage.

Think of the comfort you take from your religion. That was stolen from me at the age of 10.

Now, take your screen name, Living the truth. By implication, you are saying those who don't live like you are living a lie. I don't feel I am living a lie. Why do you say I am?

I am very religious. And I am very spiritual. Just because they are not YOUR religion and spirituality, does not mean I shouldn't be allowed on this site.

God bless you too.

i dont think your question makes any sense but it's wonderful when a person makes known their thoughts you know when 1 person says something he is speaking for millions of people in this world who feel the same way so its wonderful when someone who claims to be an unbeliever will argue with you. because they are speaking on the behalf of many unbelievers. but you urself have no good religion you say ur in a church and that means your under Gods Judgement

I Peter 4:17

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Matthew 24:15-16

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains.

II Thessalonians 2:11

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

also what is with the fish do you worship that thing or seomthin?? maybe that fish is ur God.

I personally don't mind if you say god bless you. Its just another useless phase like "have a good day". But I do understand why someone who doesn't believe in god would be insulted.

3. There is no atheist site.
2. What believers do affects us every day (think 9/11, for example)
1. If you saw someone who had cancer, would you ignore them and go chat with other doctors, or try to cure them?

We come here because i am continually baffled by how people can believe in God. It is like a car accident, you know its terrible but you can help but look anyways
