I have heard that 25% of Catholics in the U.S. are of Hispanic decent. Does any one know how many Catholics in the U.S are Irish decent, Polish decent, Italian decent, French decent, ect. or how many have mixed ethnicity as many people in the U.S. do. I am just curious because I know at one time the religion in the U.S. was dominated with Irish Catholics but I also know that many people of Catholic faith inter-married with other Catholics of other ethnicities, starting in the 1930's.

I haven't been able to find most of the information you are looking for.

However the National Black Catholic Congress claims that between 2.5 and 3 million of the 65 million Catholics in the United States are of Black, or about 4%.

Black Catholic statistics: http://www.nbccongress.org/black-catholics/worldwide-count-black-catholics-01.asp and http://www.usccb.org/saac/AfricanAmericanCatholicsintheUS.pdf
