One of the qualities of perfection is existence. Perfection exists and we know it. The most perfect of all is God. Think of the complexity of creation that you stand here now, as a none believer asking this question.
Now I'm not saying that Christianity is the truth and that God is worshipped by only this sect. The Jews and Muslims worship the same God too.
I can't MAKE you believe, nor can anybody else. Only GOD can. He has a destiny for you, perhaps you'll stay on the path you're on and continue the aimless life you live (Is it not aimless if you are not working to please God?) or you will question to a point where your heart is wrenched from its place. Then you might find God deep within; but it depends on your commitment to the mission.

Recently I heard of a discovery in the universe. It is a fact that the universe is ever expanding and electromagnetic waves travelling through this increase their wavelength by the time they reach earth. They found a mass of travelling matter that was moving with perfect pattern as if in orbit (but this is impossible). They studied the matter to find that the wavelength had not changed at all and the amazing pattern of it did not change in any shape or form. There was no red shift.
They came to a conclusion that there HAS to be a being out there who is causing this, even the intricasy of the pattern was breath-taking.

Proving Jesus' existence is harder. God took him to heaven but he is yet to return, marry, fight for us in the Holy War against the Jews to destroy the anti-christ, liberate the Holy Land and die like any other human being. He was no son of God, why would God need a Son? He is all Powerful.

Even if I did tell you, your heart is hardened and you will not believe. The existence of God is shown through His creation. How did this earth and the universe come to be, the big bang, evolution? If this is so can you tell me how it was done and give me scientific evidence that says so, I'll say you can't, because the best scientist in the world can't. All they have is speculation and theory, and these are made because they do not want to believe in God. As for Jesus, the historical validity of the New Testament speaks for itself, also Jesus is mentioned by other Jewish and Roman historians as well. Don't believe me, look it up. God does not owe you anything, nor does He have to prove anything to you, although He gives you plenty of evidence of His exsistence. You have blind eyes and they will stay blind until you open your heart to truth of God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Hi here are a few paragraphs from some links to articles I am sending to you:

Evidence of Authentic Reporting
SOME years ago an Australian scriptwriter and former critic of the Bible confessed: "For the first time in my life I did what is normally a reporter's first duty: checked my facts. . . . And I was appalled, because what I was reading [in the Gospel accounts] was not legend and it was not naturalistic fiction. It was reporting. First and second-hand accounts of extraordinary events . . . Reporting has a taste, and that taste is in the Gospels."

Similarly, E. M. Blaiklock, professor of classics at Auckland University, argued: "I claim to be an historian. My approach to the Classics is historical. And I tell you that the evidence for the life, the death, and the resurrection of Christ is better authenticated than most of the facts of ancient history."

Also:

Consider the death and resurrection of Christ. Not only do the Gospels contain reliable accounts of Jesus' death and resurrection but so does the apostle Paul's first canonical letter to Christians in ancient Corinth. He wrote: "I handed on to you, among the first things, that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, yes, that he has been raised up the third day according to the Scriptures; and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that he appeared to upward of five hundred brothers at one time, the most of whom remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep in death. After that he appeared to James, then to all the apostles; but last of all he appeared also to me as if to one born prematurely." (1 Corinthians 15:3-8) Such witnesses were custodians of historical facts regarding the life of Jesus.

What kind of evidence are you ASKING for? Isn't the complexity of the universe evidence enough? You want evidence that God exists - take a gun, shoot yourself, and see where you end up... but that's way desperate. I do not believe in God b/c of the Bible, or just plain ignorant faith - I see a baby grow in a woman's womb, see a huge strong oak grow from a pathetic little acorn, see an ugly caterpillar transform into a magnificent butterfly... that's all the evidence I need.

Since we can't see God, it is very hard to proof his existence, since there is always a theory to prove he doesn't.

As far as, Jesuss. There are 10 different historical sources outside the bible that reveals information about the life of Jesus.

1. Tacitus (ca. AD55-120) Roman Historian, Annals
2. Suetonius (ca. AD120) Roman Historian, Life of Claudius
3. Josephus(AD37-97) Jewish Historian, Antiquities
4. Pliny the Younger (AD112) Roman governor, Epistles X
5. Jewish Talmud (commentary on Jewish law completed AD500)
6. Toledo Jesu (reflects early Jewish thought, completed fifth century AD)
7. Lucian (second century AD) Greek satirist
8. Thallus (ca.AD52) Samaritan-born historian, Histories
9. Mara Bar- Serapion (ca. AD73) Letter
10. Phlegon (ca AD80) historian, chronicles (mentioned by Origin)

Proof? You want proof? How can a faith or belief be proved? You are asking the impossible. If you feel and believe that the Christian faith (or any other faith) is right for you, then go for it. Don't decide, based on the "arguments" of other people. Use your own reasoning abilities. For every argument or "proof" that any of these religionists give you, I could counter with an argument showing their reasoning to be flawed.

1 Corinthians 2:4
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power,

1 Thessalonians 1:5
because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.

I think you'll need to come across a genuine Spirit-filled Christian who can heal, resurrect etc. There are precious few around because most of us are battling the works of the flesh. As Romans 8:8 says, "Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God." Matthew 7:7, 8 - "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; those who seek find; and to those who knock, the door will be opened."

Can you imagine how many years it took for mankind to realize the world wasn't flat?

Few people want to believe without solid proof.

If I may, I recommend reading the book,
"The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel.

It may point you to particulars that the majority of Christians on Yahoo Answers cannot say, because they believe by faith. And for them that is enough.

In accordance with His will, may God reveal Himself to you in a mighty way. May you see for yourself that Jesus did die for your sins, and that He is not a hoax. And may you be blessed by God, in what you read and/or hear. Amen.

1) Logic. The universe is temporal, it must be finite. Thus the only way it could be created is by something eternal, timeless, and that does not abide by the laws of nature. This thing is supernatural, and it is God.

2) Because not even the Jews, who were enemies of Christ, doubted his existence. In their Talmud they affirmed that Jesus existed and performed miracles. It also remarks about the circumstances of his birth. They attribute his power to sorcery and magic, and say his mother was impregnated by a Roman soldier (obviously to counter the Christian claim of a virgin birth)

So Jesus did exist. But was he an agent of God or the devil? That is really the only question. IF he existed is really a moot point.
