I always bring novels with me since I like to read. I can spend two paperback novels in one 17-hour flight. But you can also bring your laptop if you have favorite PC games that you like to play...also DVDs to go along with your laptop. And the airlines usually offers varieties of newly released movies on the plane.
If none works....
bring melantonin, so that you can sleep the eleven hours off. And before you know it, you're in Greece...

I'm flying to Switzerland next week. I'm planning on taking an Ipod, a couple of books, and since I cross stitch, probably some embroidery. I'll have a 10 hour flight. I'm also taking along my own pillow, some earplugs and a sleep mask.

If you're going to Greece, why not learn Greece's official language?

Books, magazines, ipod......a good investment would be a portable DVD player and buy an extra battery to go with it due to the length of your flight!
