Scripture is NOT cult superstition.

God is real....evolution is man's excuse for denying the Creator

One man's religion is another man's superstition. I have nothing against teaching science as a Christian, I have a problem with removing all ethical teaching from schools and continuing the cult of "self-esteem" that is destroying our school system.

Evolution is not the big battle in schools: Right and Wrong is

Get it right, it's not Christians. It's SOME Christians. Most would probably agree that science is true, that's just how God made it. After all, the bible wasn't written by Him, and the explanations used were based on very ancient 'science'. Now that we know more about the world I don't understand why some can't accept that the medievel people were wrong, the modern people are right, and He never did anything differently.

Note : I'm not Christian. But I respect other's belief system enough to try not changing it. Besides, religous texts are good reading :)

I am a Christian, and my degree required alot of science courses. The more I learned about science, the more I believed in God. Therefore, indirectly, I was learning about God thru science. In my opinion, as intricate as this world is, there must be a Creator. I don't care to learn cult superstition, nor would I want it taught in schools.

See, here we go.

I respect people of different beliefs, even though they are not my own. We all have to follow our own paths. A lot of us don't understand the paths of others.

But WHY??? WHY??? start this up like this. Atheists don't want to be picked on by Christians. They want to be left to believe what the want to, without judgement. Yet now, it's ok to judge everyone else as well.

If people would just STOP, THINK, and not pass judgement, the world would be a happier, and more enlightening, place.

I'm a Christian and I'm not mad. In fact, I don't believe religion belongs in the schools. Spirituality should be taught at home and at church, by those qualified to do so. I would not want a teacher who is biased against one particular religion trying to teach a child about it. Religion is a very personal choice. I would not want my child, should they choose to be a Buddhist, being slammed with Christian, or whatever, beliefs everytime they go to school.

Wow! You know some people can really make themselves into an oxymoron (two things that are totally opposite) by asking a question that is totally opposite to the handle that they are using. YOU'VE just jammed yourself in my #1 position with that question. *With* this question, you have identified the fact that you are not a Christian and that you have no problem asking a question about a religion that you have absolutely no idea what it is about.

Science is great. It helps us understand things better. Explain this, because I assume this is what you're talking about: Where did life come from? Certainly not the big bang! Living beings and even plants are very intricate. This could not be created by an explosion, but eliminated by one.

If you could prove your theory beyond the faith required to believe that life appeared by accident 20billion years ago, maybe we wouldn't be so mad that your theory is only one allowed to be taught.

Why are evolutionist so scared of chistianity that they need to snuff it out everywhere? If evolution is the truth, then why are you so concerned what the christians are doing? Maybe you doubt your own beliefs.

Stereotype alert!

I'm a Christian, and I am glad we teach science in schools. There is a place for religion, and the classroom is not that place. I believe in separation of church and state. Many, many Christians agree with me. Those that don't are a loud and ignorant minority, but that doesn't make all Christians like this.

As far as Creationists are concerned, if anything is not as it is described in the book they worship, it is wrong, mininterpeted, or a fraud.

Never mind that it is the Creationists who keep getting caught in lie after lie, who keep trying to manufacture contraversy where there isn't any, and who happily keep repeating the same claims made a hundred years ago as though they haven't been debunked over and over again.
