i have the same haircut....
what i do is use mouse to scrunch my (damp) hair from tip to root. It makes my hair look beachy and wavy and it's really easy to do (takes me about 5 minutes). It's really great for an
"understated pretty" look.

The bob is such a hot cut right now, but you can definately add some curls to it by scrunching in some mousse and using a diffuser to dry your hair.
You can also use a hairband to create a differerent look, and trying different parts is also a great way to give your style a new feel!

I have the exact same hair cut. And i wear mine in many ways. My most fav is having it back combed at the top and having the front curve in. You can use Velcro rollers. If you are having real trouble trying to style it, then you may need to go shorter in the back, as well at the top. My back is 3inch long and the shortest layer on top is about 4.

use a paste and rub a little bit on your hands and then rub it evenly on the last inch of your hair. just mess it up a bit.

blow dry it with a round brush then flat iron it so its shiney and straight.
maybe let it air dry its loose and wavey, the beachy i just jumped in the ocean kinda look.
