Original sin is a concept that many so-called Christians believe in that states that everyone is headed to hell because Adam and Eve sinned. God may have continued to punish His people under the new law for things their ancestors did, that is they payed for their fathers sins, but He never imputed the sin to anyone other than the sinner. Sin is a transgression against God--God did not make Adam and Eve sinners anymore than He made you or I. Sounds like you're just fishin and know the truth any who!

I never understood this & never agreed with it myself. Then I realized that the concept of karma & past lives explains original sin for a pure or unborn baby-- that baby comes into the world with the "sins" or impressions of past lives it carries over to learn from or that it is paying for in some way by the family it is born into etc.
I can accept that.

The original sin is Pride. Pride is what drove Satan out of Heaven. Satan was jealous of the men God created in His Image and believed that this was the way to get God discouraged. We are born in sin because we are born in this World. We are shaped in the ways of this world. We are not paying for anything because Jesus already died for our sins and paid the price on Calvary. We all sin, but covered by grace if and only if you have excepted Jesus as your personal Savior.

It states that since Eve sinned by eating the fruit that we are all sinborn sinful. the bible contadicts on that one place it teaches we are all born sinful and another teaches we should not blame other people for our sins (Psalms 51:5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother concieved me.)(Deut.24:16) "The fathers shall not be put to death for the sins of the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin." (Romans 5:12, we read that “sin entered the world through one man, and through sin - death, and thus death has spread through the whole human race because everyone has sinned.”
