Brewster use to lay in the bathroom sink and meow until someone turned the water on so he could play with the water, he then found out that he could turn the faucet on in the kitchen sink himself. He was also fascinated by the toilet flushing, he would stand on his hind legs and watch it, he learned how to push that handle too. Don't miss the high water bill but I do miss him.

Either your cat does have the soul of a dog from a former life or it's just a strange cat! I know someone who's cat kind of does that. They bring the toy back but doesn't give it to you though. Some cats are just really weird. I knew a cat that would jump into the bath tub when someone was taking a bath!(it got hit by a car :'( I miss it.) So yeah, cats are just weird.

Both of my cats have done this every once in a while - I was told that very intelligent cats do this - and my aunt had a cat that did this as well - I've heard lots of stories about this - part of some cats personalities. If youre asking if my cats do anything unusual? I think all cats do in some way, but my boy cat Rocky likes to jump up on my back and lay there and purr while I'm getting ready in the bathroom in the morning - really unusual for me - never had a cat do it before, it's really quite loving and cute!

I have an 18-pound Manx mix named Gimli who carries his favorite toy around like a kitten. I call it his "Camo Monkey." I won the stuffed animal at Six Flags but they can also be bought on the Internet. I have two videos: Gimli and the Camo Monkey :Part One and Part Two. In the first one, he does one little meow at the 1:20 mark and in the second one, he makes a lot of noise. Also in the second one, he tries to sit on one of my other cats, Tabi. Gimli walks backwards and sits on the other cats. Sorry about the quality of the recordings; they were taken with a digital camera which I had about a year ago.

It is normal for some cats. Although I didn't know this until I got my two Burmese/Main Coon mix cats last year. I found out that this is a characteristic of some breeds. I think it's so funny to watch my cats run across the room to get ther toys!

One of my cats will throw her toy mouse into the air and catch it..she'll throw it and it'll land on the table, couch, bookshelf, etc..and jump up there and get it and throw it again..I love when people come over and she starts going crazy and it lands on them..I have to warn new people that they might have toys flying by them or possibly landing on them. It always makes me laugh, which is a good thing after a long day at work.

Our youngest cat does that - she'll do it with anything thrown. Our middle cat talks in his sleep and seems to be able to reprogram the computer - open files, delete them, change filenames - stuff like that. Our eldest cat carries on conversations with people - ask her a question, she answers with a statement. Pause, and she asks a question and so on. Our biggest cat does a mean impression of a dog (hang on, she is a dog :) )

We have a cat that fetches, too.
Both our cats attempt to 'herd' anyone in the kitchen to treats or cat food.
They both come when I call [ unlike my children, and only when I call ].
Our cat Beta will come and get you if his brother Alpha is stuck somewhere [ garage, basement ]. If Beta gets stuck, he has to yell for help until we find him.
We had two that carried stuffed animals around like a kitten
[ both Siamese, one male and one female, and they only liked plush ones! ]
One of our cats was pestering all the people watching TV one night, then pestered all the dogs.I.came home from evening shift. She pestered me until I figured out she wanted to go upstairs, where she promptly had five kittens. I guess she wanted a labor coach!
We had cats that shared mothering duties - when mama left, auntie kitty would climb in and nurse them [ she hadn't had kittens for about six years ].
We had a cat named Rebel that let our male dog Yankee babysit when she took a break. He washed them, snuggled them, and kept other dogs away.

I have owned two cats that fetch toys. One would fetch when he felt like it and the other likes to fetch whenever we want him to. I think some cats fetch because of their ancestors instincts to hunt and bring back prey rather than them being half dog.

One of my cats, Sydney, flips his mouse in the air and catches it as well as plays fetch with it. Our other cat, Brinx, has a "shoe string" for a toy and he drags it around the house in his mouth with his head held high in the air. It's really funny cause he'll start running with it in his mouth and Sydney will chase him. If he wants you to play with him he will go and get it and drop it at your feet and if you don't pick it up he will pick it up to show you and then drop it again.
