You've got a great basic granola recipe, you might want to add a tablespoon of oil (for body and keeping it in "chunks") mix it all together and place it on a foil lined cookie sheet (with sides, so it doesn't slide off) and bake it in a 300 F oven for about 25 minutes, stirring a couple times during that time period......remove from the oven and let it cool completely, and store in the refrig in a food storage container for up to a week.....you might want to throw some nuts and raisins in if you have them on hand.......you can add just about any grain, dried fruit or nut at this point.......Go for it!! Sounds great!!

Grind into a powder some of the oats. Heat up the honey, salt and vanilla to a boil, then add the powdered oats to it. Cook for 30 seconds. Let cool to lukewarm, then add the rest of the oats (and cinnamon if you'd like), shape and let cool completely.

Oven bake at 350 for twenty minutes (or so) and then cool.

yeah everything you said but leave out the artificial sweetener and salt, they are not necessary

mix it up and bake it in the oven when its done it should break up into chunky pieces and will taste beautiful

if using the cinnamon just a little sprinkle
try a few drops of vanilla essence too as alternative to the cinnamon

you wouldn't need the artificial sweetener if you have honey but it would work. you could even use a little brown sugar
