That'd be rich. For instance, he wasn't so much worried about homosexuals, but calling shellfish an abomination was serious business. Woe to he that owned stock in Red Lobster.
Also, he was serious about bats being birds. The hottest corner of hell is reserved for biology teachers who taught animal classification to impressionable kids.

It is very possible to wrongly interpret the sacred text which is why St Peter said there is no personal interpretation of Sacred Scripture. You need an authentic and authoritative interpreter for the word of God. Yes we can pray to the holy spirit but we have no guarantee of the holy spirit. That guarantee is given to the Holy Apostolic Catholic Church. If we must make a judgement on interpretation which comes from the practical intellect than that judgement can either be right or wrong. This is why we look to the Church for they recognize Christ

God's thoughts and His ways are higher than our thoughts and our ways, He doesn't use interpretation to understand meanings of things,or get "ticked off" because we mis-understood something, only people do that.
God looks at the heart of a person, He judges our motives and intentions of our hearts. He KNOWS how we think, and what we know and how we see and interpret something, and we are judged according to "what" we know, not how well we interpret things or not. Neither does He hold it against a person who doesn't know certain things, or as much as someone else, He judges each one according to what he/she knows/believes and interprets for themself to be either right or wrong. If you trust in the Lord He will teach you what He wants you to know as you read. Each person interprets things according to the desires of his/her own heart.
In effort to answer your question, the Bible says it this way, "For a man to know what is good to do, and does not do it, to him it is sin"

The Bible does not need interpreted--it is pretty plain and simple. People for thousands of years have understood it and obeyed without thinking that it changes and means something different to different people.

Well if you just read it and go by your own understanding you will misinterpret His Word. What you need to do is clear your thoughts and pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal the True meaning to His Word. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

Never happened, hasn't happened, wont happen. Big fairy tale. I think we have a better chance of pissing Godzilla off and having him smite us.
