He's a male, a shih tzu puppy, he's mainly white with some black. I'm trying to decide on names. I love the name max, but not sure if it fits him. please help!

Max is a great name. I think dogs should have really great people names. I have two little papillons named Baxter and Bailey. Give him a dignified name.

Then, find a name that fits him! You don't have to pick out a name for him right away! It might take awhile to see what his favorite toy is, what he does the most during the day, or even his favorite kind of dog food! Figure out what his personality is like. Or get a better look at the shape of his body or color pattern on his fur. I hope that this helps! Enjoy your new puppy!

I used to have a male shih tzu also. They're soooo cute, aren't they? Although every shih tzu is different, they're laid back and full of fun. Maybe, "doodle?"

my sister named her shih tzu fluffules i thought it was cute and yes the dog is a male like yours but he always comes to the name so we guess he likes it. another good one is price or kenny( as in chesney).
