hahahahaha!!!
actually yes, i did! and it was!!!!
i was married 6 months before an exfriend was, and all durring the planning of my wedding all she did was rave about how great her wedding was going to be and blah blah blah.
turns out, my wedding was so much fun. yes some things did go wrong, but people actually partied at my wedding and everyone loved the food.
her wedding was so freakin boring. the food was gross (she paid i believe $60 per person for disgusting steak, potatoes and salty vegies) i didnt even eat it.
no one danced at all at her wedding. it was actually pretty funny!
people that attended both weddings commented on how they enjoyed mine much better.
even today almost a year and a half later, people still comment on how much they enjoyed my wedding.

SECRETLY are you serious? i dont' secretly wish my wedding was better, HA i openly wish my wedding is better than anybody's! Now take into consideration that taste is very personal and unique. for that person what they've done is perfect i'm sure, and for you it may seem meager or tacky. so they too will have a different opinion on YOUR wedding. Keep an open mind, don't envy and enjoy other people's parties, hey the food is free!.

Yes. It's natural, especially for women. You're wedding is a special day for you and your hubby. You spend a lot of time planning out the menu, the flowers, the dresses. You want people to have fun and remember your day over others.
I've been to a few weddings. I've seen a lot of really nice wedding and I hope mine can measure up. I don't want people saying my wedding is one of the worst they ever remember.
I know people say, "no one remembers your wedding" But, I beg to differ. I've been to 6 weddings in the past 3 years. I remember almost all of them. Even though I was only someone's date. I like to look at details, I remember food, stuff like that.
So, yes, people do remember.

My brother got married this past weekend and mine is 3 months down the road. I was the best man at his wedding and I never smiled more. I was generally happy for him and my new sister-in-law. Sure there's some things that I wanted to do that they did in their wedding, but it didn't bother me one bit. My only regret came from the fact that I may have lost 2 rolls of film I took at his wedding that I pray that someone has found and recover pretty soon.

Why would anyone want someone elses wedding to be better than their own? No one 'secretly' hopes for their wedding to be better, the openly do!

There's no secret about it...I hope my guests have so much fun at my wedding, any other they attend will be compared to mine! We are shuinning the whole traditional wedding vibe and having a fun party--first in St Thomas, then in our hometown...we can't wait!

Everyone wants there wedding to be better than other peoples. Its normal. Just don't let it get to your head, or you will make yourself (and other people) crazy!!!! Just concentrate on it being YOUR day, and forget the rest of it!!!
