Good question asked at the wrong place... Most of the people here disgrace each other's religion... so u must be well aware of the answers before posting this question.

Muslims like me will definetly say that ISLAM is a wonderful religion... on the contarary most non-muslims ( not all of them) will regard it as a bad religion due to their "poco o nada" research.

All the skeptics of islam dont even bother to study about it.... They just pass their irreverent comments on the basis of their very little knowledge that they have apprehended from other skeptics.

Muslims do believe in Jesus. We just believe he was another prophet, rather than the son of God.

Islam is a religion of peace, brotherhood, and unity.
The one and only God is Allah and he created everything and is everything.
He revealed his message to Prophets who then passed on the message to others. Prophet Mohammed was the last Prophet.
Now after this is where the major split between shia and sunni occurs. Shias followed Hazrat Aly as the first Imam, and Sunnis did not.
The holy book is the Quran, and you guide your life through the Quran and Hadiths of the Prophet.
No alcohol, no pork.
The religion itself does not teach or condone woman as being subhuman. What your thinking of has to do with values, norms, and culture of various countries. In Islam, Women are NOT forced to wear burkas, hijabs, etc...

I dont wanna go intot too much detail, but theres lots more information. You should go do some research, and also talk to other Muslims of different branches. You'll get shitty answers because many people posting here are ignorant rednecks, who just fall into the bias of Fox and CNN and just sterettype based on the actions of a few extremists.

Nope. The Angel told Prophet Mohammed to "read" or "recite." Nothing was said that the Bible was garbage or whatever.

Also about the sacrifice. The son was not actually sacrificed. He was told to sacrifice his son by Allah. The son agree and said it was Allahs will. Just as the son was about to be sacrificed, Allah saw that he truely believed and listened to him and said NO. He then told him to sacrifice this nearby lamb instead.

a very good question but i know most of the people will critize islam on whatever they just heard...they r not sure even that it is right or not...without confirming anything they should not say something about one's religion...any religion in the world...this wht our islam teaches us....

I have read the entire koran, every page, every word, and my conclusion is Satan loves islam because it confuses weak minded people by convincing them that the pagan arab moon god allah is the true God of the Bible and saying God's Bible is not really God's word. Islam says a man known to have been a rapist, thief, murderer, and pedophile was the greatest of all prophets. this would be a sick joke if not for the fact that so many gullible people have been fooled by it, and violate the real God's rules by becoming suicide bombers, wife beaters (as taught by surah 4:34 in the koran), and terrorists in general, all in the name of pagan arab moon god allah.
Islam is helping Satan fill the bowels of hell.

Islam bases it's religion on one man's testimony!
Mohammad claims he spoke to an angel. This angel told him the bible New and Old were full of flaws. He brought this knowledge to the Jews first, they rejected him then to the Christians who also rejected him.

We have the bible with many many ancient copies, over 5000, that are cataloged and they are the same as our bible today. We also have the dead sea scrolls that dates back WAY long before Mohammad.

Islam calls Abraham it's "father" as do the Jews. Abraham had 2 sons, one Ishmael (descendants are Muslim) and one Isaac (descendants are Jews). Abraham almost sacrificed Isaac (a test) according the the Old Test and the Koran says it was Ishmael.

There are over 300 prophecies about Jesus that has come to pass (I have a list).
Who are you going to believe? One man's testimony? Or numerous kings and prophets who all agree with each other and all the prophecies that have come to pass?

Islam is probably the greatest threat to freedom facing the world today. Those who follow the quaran and islam are the enemies of the rest of the human population of the Earth
All muslims, if they are true muslims, must follow the quaran and only the quaran in all that they believe. All muslims believe that the quaran comes from their so-called god allah...that there is only one quaran... that there is only one islam... that the quaran is islam and islam is the quaran.

The quaran clearly states that All who do not submit to the law of the quaran and islam are to be killed... what dose this make ALL who follow the quaran and islam, relative to the rest of the human population of the world...can you say... enemies

I've got the same attitude towards islam as I do christianity and any other major religion.

I think they are all full of crap.

I don't care if people want to believe in them - as long as they leave me alone.

Unfortunately all religions require their followers to ignore reality and have 'faith' in whatever that religion preaches - people have been able to use this blind following to further extremist agendas.

Islamic extremists convince their followers that god wants them to commit atrocities.

But christian extremists convince their followers to do the same - for proof see 'the iraq war'.
