Did it hurt when it bit you? If not, it isn't a bee/wasp/hornet.
If it was, scrape the stinger out with a credit card [ pulling it out with tweezers actually injects more venom ].
Wash with soap and water, rinse well, and check it frequently.
If it spreads or swells rapidly, go to urgent care.
Otherwise, put antibiotic ointment and a bandaid over it.
Check it frequently tomorrow, too; and go to the doc if it looks worse.
[ My guess - spider bite: they don't hurt until later, and they turn lovely colors ].

it sounds like you got stung by a bee. lol. I think you would have known had you been bitten by a snake, seeing as their big and everything. If it is a bee sting, you can mix equal parts baking soda, and water together, into a paste and put it on the sting. That will take the burning away. Keep an eye on it though, some people are allergic to bee stings. It could also be a spider bite, though the way you describe it, sounds like a bee sting to me.

ouch. it was probably a wasp, but if it's huge, it may be a hornet. put ice on it, and if you see a stinger, try to scrape it away with a stiff piece of paper. DO NOT USE TWEEZERS! they can end up squeezing more of the poison into your body than there already is. when i say poison tho, don't panic. the stuff just makes the bite mark swell and get really sore. after icing, put calamine lotion on it, and that will take away the sting. good luck, the same thing has happened to me!!

Sounds like a spider or a wasp, I suggest you try cleaning it out immediately, scrap the stinger if a wasp, put some ice on it to ease the swelling, then going to the doctor if it gets worse!

Maybe a wasp, or bee floating in the water. Try applying ice and put some ointment on it. If it gets worst within an hour after the bite, go to Urgent Care.
