Absolutely. We get our food right off the farm. We grow it and slaughter it ourselves. We know exactly what we are eating.

We are part of a farming co-op that has dairy, beef, pigs, chickens, emus, goats, etc...

We also grow all of our own fruits and vegetables. We make our own butter and ice cream too.

My family and my best friend's family are responsible for the fruits & vegetables grown to feed the farming co-op families. We are certified organic and know EXACTLY what we are eating at all times.

The families responsible for the grain feed and the families responsible for the meat do the same. No inorganic fertilizers. No growth hormones. All natural.

Besides a strawberry patch? Im not sure where you are located at but ever heard of "Whole Foods?" They are a supermarket and they sell mostly organic and all antural things. Rare things as well. A lot of the stuff like produce, milk, breads, meats and juices are loaclly grown and made as well. They have a breakfast bar and lunch/dinner bar from there as well and it's all healthy stuff. I eat there a lot and it's great!

Living in a rural area,I buy from local sources whenever possible.Local produce in season.Eggs from a local farm.Meat from a nearby farm where the animals are raised, slaughtered, they also have a smoke house.Sometimes I see my future dinner has escaped the pasture and is walking down the road. It's not cheap, but I'm willing to pay more for this good quality and help keep my money in my community. For city people the cost would be even more-people would have to want to research these sources and travel to get them.

Yes, in your own home, using fruits and vegetables that you grew for yourself, like I do. Otherwise, its anyones guess whats in the food. When you buy commercial produce, you assume you are just getting a good, all natural ear of corn, or head of cabbage, but the truth is, most produce being commercially sold in the US and UK have been gentically modified to make them resistant to pests, grow faster, etc, and have been spliced with genes from other species of food. Unless you are buying or growing organic food, then its a safe bet that the stuff you think is healthy, such as fruits and vegetables, are actually genetically modified and therefor no longer considered a natural food. Sad, but true, and most people are not even aware of it.

When I lived in Eastern Europe, my host family grew all of their fruits and vegetables. They also raised chicken for eggs and meat, and also for meat pigs, geese, ducks, rabbits. If they wanted milk, they went to the neighbor's who had a cow. The animals ate left-overs of food (e.g., apple cores and stuff for the birds) and home-grown corn. No preservatives, no chemicals and all natural.

Very odd question.
Why don't you go to your local organic food market. Buy what you like and cook it yourself. Or go to an organic restaurant. Our local market has it's own restaurant.
