I have been friends with this guy for 3 years now but me and his cousin have dated for a while and we still talk. But last year he told me something that i did not want to expect from him, of course we was not dating at the time but i still had feelings for him. Then the guy i had been friends with wanted to date me, but i did not want to because i was still feeling his cousin. Then me and his cousin lost contact and havent talk for about 4 months now, but i talk to my friend everyday and grew a strong connection for him but i know that i cant date him cause they are cousins... Then one day i was talking to him and his cousin was over there and he wanted to talk to me bout something. So we talk on the phone and all the feelings i had for him came back and now we talk everyday. He told me that he as praying for God to show him someone that he need in his life and he said right after he got finish praying I had called and he felt like it was God answering him. What do I do???

Sounds like you might need to take a step back from both of them. You are wishy washy one day you have feelings for one and the next the other. Take a step back evaluate your life and feelings. Then you can make a decision based on your head and heart and not the convenience of who is around and available

I don't see what the problem is. You don't want to date the friend, you want to date the cousin. You told the friend you couldnt' date him cause you still had feelings for his cousin. Now his cousin comes back into the picture and wants to get back together with you. What's the problem?? You got what you wanted! Go for it!

I would suggest that you also send up a prayer request of your own. If you receive a message that coincides with his then you can take it from there. I never second guess God or rely on someone else's interpretation of his reply. Use your own brain, your own intuition. I think you already know the answer deep inside. When things are "meant to be" then they come naturally without confusion or doubt. Happy soul searching!!

If the cousin has feelings for him, you should hook up with him, if you really like him, but also, tell him how you feel straight up. He'll understand. Stay in touch with the other guy too, and maybe you guys can be friends, still.

follow your instinct. and be honest with both of the guys...and quite honestly who cares if they are cousins...if you like the guy...then you like him...simple as that!! but i would be careful with what he said about a sign from God. only you really know how serious he is about God and stuff...and if you believe him, then great. but i knew someone who would tell these girls he liked that because he wanted them, and because he knew that they were good little church goers who would believe everything they heard...so just be careful!! good luck with everything

You should break up with your brother and start looking at the livestock in the barn.
