Uh...yes!
1. Have you ever heard that you don't date friends' exes...well this A LOT bigger than that. Would you really want to do that to your MOM?
2. How old are you? How old is he? I'm assuming there is a pretty decent age difference. And I'm hoping you're not still under 18...If you are, then you're in some deep water with the situation.
3. Why have you guys kept in contact? He sounds like a sleezeball if he's after his ex's DAUGHTER.

Ok let me tell ya something honey. u like ur mom's ex boyfriend. I'm sorry to say this for u but YES! I don't belive in relationships with a big age difference because he is a whole nother generation and u 2 won't really understand each other and whe u are really close a long time in the future if u have kids, think about them. For example, having a mom who's 42 and a dad who is 59 when they are only 7. Think about their friends finding out about that! It may seem like a long time away but it can still happen and it will. He could be some guy who just says he loves u but really doesn't. Is there a reason ur mom dumped him?! Think of all these thing that will be going on in the future, will they really make you happy? I get crap because my mom is 3 years older then my dad. So nobody can decide 4 u but I really hope u take my advice! U deserve a good relationship like any1 else!

Definitely. You should never do something like this. First off think about if you had a daughter like yourself, would you want your daughter dating your boyfriend?
I don't know you that well, but heres my advice. Think about how this will benefit you in your life and how is this going to make a difference for you and your moms relationship. Also in the Holy Bible in Leviticus 18:17 it talks about Unlawful sexual relations. If you would read this, it will help you with your choice.
This is my advice, so I hope you really take a deep look at what your decisions are and listen to your conscience. Rely on God.

When you say "somethin [sic]" do you mean a romantic relationship?
If yes, then my response is:
Honey, your mom clearly has messed you up about women and relationships....DO NOT under ANY circumstances have any sort of "romantic" relationship with ANYONE she's been in bed with, or married, or had a relationship with. In addition to being rather disgusting, it's pathetic that a man would go after the daughter of someone he's been with.
NO, no, no and no.

The best way to answer that is to ask your mother. I can't imagine that she would be okay with it, but maybe she would. If they parted on good terms and he is younger than her, maybe she could see the two of you together. Remember, she knows him a lot better than you do and if she advises you against it, you should listen. Your mother is one of very few people who will always be in your corner and you don't want to jeopardize that. Talk to her and then make a decision..........

That depends entirely on whether or not you are of legal age. Then it matters a lot. Since he is interested in you now I would suggest he was interested in you then, so take it from there.

no. i think it's great. since your mom already knows him you've already gotten past that first hurtle. i personally have "dated" several moms and daughters in the past. don't be concerned with the age differences if it's consensual then it's legal (if you have the right lawyer).
