I don't think it would be better as far as ethics and stuff because major religions (catholicism, jewism, jehova's witnessism...etc) regulate what people are "allowed" to do---commandments and such
it would be better as far as free-will and evolution of the mind....but somehow othe religion would have popped up from somewheres

The world may be a better place, who know's. However if people actually listened to the teachings of Jesus and Buddha(I don't know much about Muhammed) the world would definitely be a better place. The blame here is not on gods or spiritual leaders but on the people who claim to follow them and the people who hate the people that follow them.

To have no religious knowledge of any kind....to have no curiosity about what's out there...why am I here....what is my purpose....a world full of people so self absorbed as to not wonder if there was something bigger than themselves would be a terrible place.....in my opinion...no disrespect to John Lennon, but his dream utopia can never exist.

If Christ never rose from the dead.....then all of our preaching would be in vain (1 Corinthians 15)
And I could never imagine a world without Christ....I'm going to heaven because of His grace & mercy!

If all these never happened, the world will cease to exist!!!
WHY?? Christ died to save this world, and if He did not die, it means the world would have passed away long ago!!!

It would actually be much worse--there would still be wars, famines & natural disasters, but without Jesus there would be no hope.
