Hygiene and diet - the first will only help somewhat, but I think the second needs to be examined and if necessary changed.

Regular exercise also helps skin quality. Drink lots of water, and throw out those sweet fizzy drinks, they are very bad for you.

i find tea tree oil works great on oily and spotty skin. it works for me anyway.
i use the t-zone products and my face is clear with in a day or 2 of a breakout. plus drinking plenty of water helps to keep skin clear aswell.
