I'm lonely 51 and single where can i meet men .?

I 'm tired of sitting at home my son is 15 now and has his own friends, l joined the singles club but they are older and i'm young at heart. l like biking and outdoor stuff but my social skills are rough and l quess theres noone out there for me. I need some solid advice where can l chat to singles(free) in Barrie ( 60 miles north of Toronto,Ontario.) Any advice on where to go to meet and talk to men around 50????? p.s. tired of the bar scene........Nancy

I'm near your age also. Have you tried upscale healthclubs and sports related places where men may hangout. There are plenty of different clubs out there (golfing, rock climbing, biking, etc.) for you to socialize.

You need to put yourself into situations where you meet men the age/type you want. For a 51 y/o guy who likes the outdoors try joining Boy Scouts as an adult leader.

Or get a job as a receptionist for a construction company, you will meet lots of outdoorsy guys.

Skip the chat thing, too many losers on the net.

did you try match.com or e harmony? those sites are pretty good. if not how bout social events like a fest or vegas night at your church?you could even try going to health club just to see what's there
