could something bad happen to my arm should i go to the doctors?

Not really, but it will hurt like crazy for a week or two

shouldnt be that bad, i do phlebotomy all day for weeks at a time and it happens someitmes. ill just bruse badly. dont worry. if it keeps swelling for more than a couple hours or you feel faint or something go see someone, but you should be fine.

No and, you'd better get used to it, back in med school i was the guinea pig all the time, they always looked for me. I think I walked around with a blue spot on my arm all the time.
Grin and bare it. If your lucky, you may be able to get even.

I doubt it could be anything life threatening, unless it affects the circulation to your heart. You might want to call your primary care doc and tell them what happened. Better safe than sorry ya know

You might want to make sure that needle wasn't somewhere else...Sharing needles isn't good
