In a normal pack of instant noodles, is the fat in the fried noodle dough or is it in the packets of soup base high in MSG?
If they all have some, which category has more fats? How about Calories?
Thanks

You are right. The fat is in the fact that the noodles are fried first. That seasoning packet has all the sodium and spices.

The answer is the noodles have much more fats. They are maid from mother dairy, here in india in my place they make it from mother dairy that is ghee. When they are fried, spices, ghee, masala, vegetables lots of oil etc. This makes the contents of the noodles having more fats. Noodles has much fats and it has quite much calories too..

the fat is in the fact that the noodles are fried to preserve them. but, you can get fresh ramen noodle soup in the refrigerated/specialty foods section at big grocery stores. I use one that is japanese and it's really good. it doesn't have any of the fat.
