I'm thinking of melting some Hershey's milk chocolate and stirring that into my mix (instead of just adding chocolate chunks). I've also heard that adding a spoonful of instant coffee will enhance the flavor of the chocolate. Is that fine?

Coffee always enhances chocolate. And, I've found that a teaspoon of brandy in addition to the vanilla also makes it delicious.

I usually add a quarter cup or so of Hershey's Special Dark syrup. Now when I'm invited to a gathering I'm TOLD to bring my "special" brownies.
