I hope it passes WITH some amendments to it.
1) Lower the # of people coming here legally.
2) Those here illegally will have to prove that they are worthy of becoming legal US citizens by : passing background checks, keeping jobs, learning English, NO government aid, pay back taxes, pay fines etc ......
3) THE WALL MUST GET BUILT WITHIN 1 YEAR ...... if we have enough money to re-build Iraq, we should have enough money to build a darn wall.
4) Spouses & children of US Citizens will get residency immediatley (after passing background check and all above requirements)
5) END TO CHAIN IMMIGRATION! Relatives of permanent residents will only be allowed to visit but not gain permanent residnecy uless they prove that they are self sufficcient & do not have to work here or depend on gov't aide.
6) Hire more ICE agents.
7) GOOD MORAL CHARACTER REQUIRED!
8)Child Molesters & Gang Members are NOT Eligible.
I really can't think of any more amendments but I think that should do.

Keep up the pressure!
NOW is not the time to walk away. Cloture is NO guarantee the bill will still pass.
We must let The Senate know the vast majority of Legal US Citizens are against this Scamnesty Bill.

I am really hopeful that it will die really soon. The best thing that could happen would be for the pile of crap to not get the needed 60 votes to bring it back to the floor for debate. Let this bill go down in flames! Of course, even if it gets to the floor for debate, we still have a good change for it to die.
Americans are pissed. Most Americans don't what this garbage! Hopefully the Washington weasels will be too afraid of the voters and loosing their jobs to vote for this garbage!

It's unlikely to be passed by the House. In spite of that, I feel betrayed by the Senators who support this bill. Why should criminals be rewarded?

What the idiots in our Congress don't realize is that there are enough of us that oppose this bill that it's going to mean serious problems if they push it through.

If it passes we will know the traitors that sold out, and the Socialist scum that are against the American people. Then we should vote them all out of office.
That fat bastard Kennedy should be strung up.

I certainly hope it will die a speedy death. I have already made my own feelings VERY clear to Sen. Arlen Specter and Sen. Robert Casey.

If the republicans want to hold on to their party, they will not pass it. I usually vote republican for national elections, but if this passes, I will never vote republican again.

Once it got Cloture, it's virtually gauranteed passage. The Democratic process has failed. The American people have been betrayed.
