I think there should be a road course. The chase has a short track, a superspeedway, flat tracks and the fastest mid tracks, why not have a road course race? The championship should be won by the best driver on all the different types of race tracks, not just ones where you turn left. What do you think?

I think they should. The champion should be the all around best driver and good on all types of tracks. I think they need to add a couple dirt races to Nextel Cup too. Just cover Bristol or something in dirt and let them race. They've done it before, just not for Cup cars. If they did that, we would really see who the best drivers are.

Well this past weekend changed my views a little of road courses. Except for the gas issues. I hate when a race is determined by gas mileage, but anyway, I think it would be fine to add a road course into the Chase. I definitely wouldn't have a problem with adding a track in the Chase that Gordon was pretty much guaranteed a top 5 in.

Yes. I say Nascar should have a road course in the Chase for the Cup. Why? It would add a wider range of track configurations to the Chase and would even out the playing field so you don't have one driver dominating the Chase. The Chase should have every type of track that the Cup drivers use.

Absolutely. To crown a Champion and not have ever type of track NASCAR races on represented just doesn't seem right. The have super speedways, speedways, and short tracks in the Chase; why not a road course.

There's not much I can add to your statements but I look at it this way. If you use 2 road courses to help decide who gets into the chase you need to have 1 road course IN the chase to help determine the winner of the Nextel Cup. It is the best overall test of a driver's ability.

Road Courses are some of the tracks that Nascar fans don't really care to watch for. In all of my pools that i'm in....we don't count the road races. Its funny to think about it...people who don't watch nascar don't get how its fun to watch cars go left turns for 3 hrs but a lot of nascar fans don't like to watch road races. Hmm...

Like! optimistic, its distinctive from what maximum Nascar followers are used to, yet i think of the exchange interior the drivers' convenience zone makes for large racing. I easily have continuously theory the chase desires a highway direction. form of separates the adult adult males from the lads. i easily could want to bypass to a highway direction race, too. Yeah, i know, you may no longer see the entire race, yet thats what Jumbo displays and Fan test are for. :-) i like the two Infineon and the Glen, yet once I had to take my %. i could bypass with the Glen. Its closer and that i think of the racing is a wee bit extra powerful, yet wine tasting and northerly California has its attraction as properly. I additionally enjoyed the national races at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico city and Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. The Montreal track seems eye-catching! The race interior the rain there grow to be large!

Yeah they should take out one of the cookie cutters and put in a road course. They'd have every kind of trackthey run so it'd make for a pretty well rounded champion.
