You shouldn't eat within 2 hours of bed-time. That 2 hours gives your body the time to digest and break down most of that food, so you aren't going to bed and trying to break it down when your body is least active.

It really doesn't matter. Your body metabolizes food at the same rate no matter what time you eat it.

The only time you shouldn't worry about eating close to bedtime is if you have acid reflux disease or are just prone to heartburn.

It's fine...the old idea of "don't eat after 6pm" has been found to not really be an issue. It matters more what your total calorie intake is for the day, not so much what time of day you eat them.

as long as you don't go over your caloric allotment, you can eat at night. it's not good to go to bed with a lot of food in your stomach, so don't eat 2-3 hours before you go to bed. what you eat isn't quite as important as when you eat it.
