I am 15 years old and am having a physical today. Is it appropriate to go alone, or should a parent accompany me?

It is what you and your parents are comfortable with - If they are comfortable that you will answer all the questions well and do some thing if the doctor gets inappropriate, then you can go alone or they can consult the doctor after the visit is completed. Talk to your parents - decide together what you want to do. It is hard for parents to let go - ( I am a mom and I still have a hard time, my son is 17....he can rest his elbow on my head : ) Should be a line backer, but I still worry, he laughs at me for it.... in a gentle giant kind of way. ) Point is, I think you can work it out and still have both sides OK with it.
Good luck to you.

Probably both ways. If you take a parent, they can sit in the waiting room during your physical and then the doctor can see you both afterwards if needed. Otherwise, if you would rather go alone but aren't sure if the doctor would be okay with this, you can call the office and ask them can you keep the appointment alone and see what their policy is.

it's overall your choice! yet it's always wise to have a parent attend just in case something is wrong! and for some support i would say yes take a parent! GOOD LUCK!!!!

I think it's a good idea to take a parent or responsible adult with you.
