I searched for my answer and didn't come up with anything conclusive..my main question is this: Is there a certain length of time which is too long to do a cardio session after fasting (usually start about half an hour after I wake up, on an empty stomach)? I have a little fat on my abs and chest I am trying to get rid of so I have completely changed my diet and started working out. I just want to make sure there are no consequences of doing a 45 min cardio session on an empty stomach?

I always exercise for at least 30 minutes in the morning before I eat breakfast. make sure you drink something and are properly hydrated before you exercise, then eat after you finish the cardio. I read that exercising this way will burn more fat. your body goes for the fat reserves instead of whatever's in your stomach.

Not that I am the key to fitness, but I do pretty good. I have searched the web and found contradicting answers to this question. I personally am up at 6 and usually out jogging 4 miles by 6:45. I don't eat before I go. I have tried to eat high protein before I run, but then I cramp.

I think it depends on what you are trying to do, lose weight or build muscle. If losing weight is your goal, it seems to make sense that your body will have to use stored fat, instead of fat just consumed. If your trying to build muscle, you would probably want to consume protein to feed the muscles.

I have also heard, not sure if its true, that you shouldn't eat for at least an hour after cardio. Your body is still busy burning calories and you want it to burn stored calories(fat)

Like I said I am no expert, and I am very interested to what others have to say about this.

Yes and no. For abs, sure for the reason that you must have low frame fats percent, no person has abs if their bfp is over some thing like 15% for the reason that your fats covers the muscle tissues. For hands and percent, no it may not support. To construct the ones muscle tissues you wish to have consistent weight coaching and top protein consumption. Doing an excessive amount of aerobic whilst seeking to construct muscle tissues will also be counterproductive.
