fat storage occurs over an extended period of time when there is a steady caloric excess combined with insufficient activity. the foods that are consumed over the course of the week are more important than that on a day to day basis in terms of fat loss or fat storage. a high carb meal or a high fat meal consumed on occassion will have no noticeable effect on fat loss
