Roulette is one of the worst games that you can play at the casino. If you must play, then (a) play on a single-0 table rather than a double-0 table, and (b) stick to the even money bets (red/black, even/odd, high/low).

(1) If possible, find a table with a European layout, i.e., a table that does not have a double zero.
(2) If you cannot find a layout without a double zero, with one exception, the house advantage is the same on all roulette bets. The one exception is the 0-00-1-2-3 five number bet which has a larger house advantage than any other bet and should, therefore, be avoided.
(3) As with any casino game, remember if you never leave when you are ahead you will never win. Before you start playing decide when you will stop playing. For example, you might say "I will stop after one hour or if I get up $50 or if I lose $75."
(4) Remember that you are there to have fun. If you win that is a bonus. If you stop having fun, or you want to play more to get back money you have lost, it is time to leave.

Best tip of the day... kiss your money goodbye. The best bet is still a simple single number..... you'll lose the slowest that way, but not get much action. In any event, you'll end up losing everything you bring to the casino eventually...count on it.
