Call your vet and ask their advise on something like this.

I hope your dog feels better soon.

2 out of my 6 have what I call AM Bulimia. Their day can not start until they are out in the yard vomiting. Normally with mine it is after eating grass. IF it is just grass eating it is no big deal .. Trust me I have been to at least 7 different vets and a local vet school to find out the reason why.

IF it is something more then grass eating it may be a form of pancreatitis or some other illness. This can only be diagnosed after a blood test.

If she does it after eating and then goes and runs around the yard welll that is because she has eaten too much and is exercising too hard.

Good Luck

Take your dog to the vet, if you vomitted occasionally in the morning wouldn't you go see a doctor?

My dog sometimes does this as well - usually yellow and a bit foamy. It means he is hungry. I typically give him a little treat before bed time so it will hold him over until the morning. If he does happen to get sick in the morning, he usually won't eat his breakfast for a while - he'll usually take a little nap and then eat.

Well, if your dog is female, she just might be pregnant, assuming dogs suffer the same fate of "morning sickness" that some women do during the initial stages of pregnancy.

Maybe when you take your dog for a walk, he/she eats grass. Dogs eat grass so they can vomit. If you ever see your dog eating grass, dont pull him/her away from it. He/she needs that to "feel better" .Dont let him/her in the house until he/she vomits.

They all do this once in a while. If it happens more frequently, you may want to see a vet. Until then just clean up the mess and move on. It's normal.

more than likely mucus is building up overnight.. go to the store buy a plastic lemon, and give it a squirt in the dogs throat, it'll clear up majority of that, by any chance is it a bulldog?
