I'm looking for vegan breakfast fruit smoothie recipes. Something for a good start to the day! =) I'm sure there's a lot of combinations etc but if there's something that works particularly well for you, it'd be great to hear about it! Thanks!

I really love making smoothies, and I try to use fresh organic fruits when availiable. However, I have found that using frozen fruits (usually variety berry mixes) helps keep the grocery bill down. My favorite fruit to use: golden pineapple! It always manages to sweeten anything up!

I don't think there is any wrong way to make a smoothie, so here are the fruits I usually use:
Strawberries, bananas, mango, pineapple, apricots, peaches, blueberries, rasperries, pixie mandarins (no seeds!). Just add ice and enjoy!

Also, if you go to your grocer's juice aisle, you may be able to find Looza Fruit Nectar/Juices. They are amazing! Also try using canned coconut milk for a twist of flavor.

I like fruit/yogurt smoothies.... strawberries/ w/ lowfat vanilla yogurt and maybe toss in a banana.... Look Ma, no meat ! If you wanted extra vitamins/nutrients you could add carnation instant breakfast vanilla flavored... However, I don't know if there's any animal products in that... Depending on how vegan you are.....

I love just a plain ole strawberry, banana smoothie. 4 -5 strawberries, 1 banana, 1/2 cup milk, 4-5 ice cubes and 1 teaspoon sugar (optional).
