Ronald McDonald House, YWCA or other shelter for women and children, senior center or living facility. Your local chapter of Habitat for Humanity may want them to include in welcome baskets for new homeowners. Community centers of any sort often welcome these gifts since their kitchens are so heavily used. If you are in an area that has an influx of immigrants, there is probably a local organization that helps these people, particularly refugees, set up homes.
Thank you for thinking of donating these items. I am sure you will find a place where they will continue to be useful.

I bet you're absolutely right about a homeless charity. Winter Comfort were asking specifically for household items in their last newsletter.
If they're too far from you, I'm sure they'd know someone nearer.

Salvation Army, or Goodwill will usually take them if in fair to good condition, and as the previous writer said, one of your local soup kitchens for the homeless.

You could donate them to a local Domestic Violence center. Or an organization that deals with single or families that are getting new homes. Ohh, what about your local habitat for humanity? Hope this answer helps.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Do you know freecycle.com?
People who've lost everything in a fire would want a few. A church that's just added a kitchen or any organization that's been using styrofoam, but wants to go green.

Contact your local Council for Voluntary Service - they will be able to email round their members to see if a group or groups might make use of them.
