I want a tea-cup poodle (perferable white) that will be very small- 3lds or under. I want one reasonable in price and somewhere close or in Maryland.

A teacup poodle does not exist. A toy poodle however is only a few pounds more. Living in Maryland gives you a couple of options. You can contact either the Maryland or Washington D.C. chapter of the Poodle Club of America (http://www.poodleclubofamerica.org/). Simply select breeder referral on the side bar. You can also try neighboring states.
Believe me, a toy poodle looks plenty small and cute and won't come with all the health problems a poorly bred "teacup" is almost guaranteed to have.

First there is really no such thing as tea cup anything from a responsible breeder. Those really tiny ones come with so many inherent health problems. Find a good toy poodle breeder and you will much happier and have a much healthier pet. Try the AKC breeders list, look under poodles in general search and look for either the national poodle club or clubs in your area.

You won't find one from a responsible breeder.."teacup" is only a term used by irresponsible breeders as a sales tactic to sell runts or puppies delibrately bred smaller then the breed standard calls for. Dogs bred smaller then they should be are more prone to serious health issues and a shorter life span.
If you are looking for a Toy Poodle then look for a responsible breeder one that breeds to the breed standard and for health, temperament and longevity.. don't fall for irresponsible breeder scams.

They're no such thing as a Teacup dog! It just means you have a Runt. They breed runts with runts to create a unhealhier runt. Just get a regular toy poodle. it's just a few pound more. Or you can ge a teacup dog and pay for all the Vet bills you might have

The American Kennel Club has a website which lists breed specific breeders. Just type in www.akc.com. Search their site...this might help you find a breeder in your area.
