Even I don’t know who you are yet, but I think you are also curious about me, just I’m curious about you.
Many AYUSA students have already got their host family. Today is Jun.26th, it have been nearly passed half a year since I sended you the first host family letter. I heard lots of information about other people’s host family, which made me more anxious. And I’m afraid you won’t have too much time to know what you want know after you determine to host me. So I write you this letter in particular.
I searched on the Google earth as soon I got the information of I will live in MA.
Technologies shorten distance of the world. But life differences are still remaining. So, maybe it’s hard to you to imagine the life of Chinese students. I’m a student on the 10th grade. Like most students at my age, I get up around 6:30 a.m., and arrive school at 7:15a.m.. have my breakfast when I am hungry. My group mates can often see me eating, they are all disbelieving why I’m not fat?! ^~^Hee-hee!
Am I a strict person? No, I think I am not. When I am staying with strangers, I look shy, and when I’ll do something I think it is important, I will prepare it time after time. In my classmates’ opinion, I’m a quiet girl and not outgoing, but I am absolutely welcome everyone to be my friend.
Yesterday, I finished a history exam and a geography exam. Time is limited but exams are not. Now, I’m preparing for the last big exam of this semester.
I racked my brains to choosing the content of this letter. I really don’t know what you want to know. Since we don’t know each other yet, I made a self-assertion to say something about my normal life. Hope you like it! And I extremely want to receive the letter from you!

Linz gave you excellent suggestions! I would only add that you may want to add a note at the bottom of the letter that you wrote this letter yourself but had assistance from someone with the grammar.
You sound like a wonderful person. Your host family will be lucky to spend time with you. Best wishes and good luck.
