Im a college student and a girl id never seen or met sent me an instant msg and asked me to hang out with her. she also told me she recently broke up with her bf. Im looking for a serious relationship not a temporary rebound to be dumped in two weeks and i dont want to be used or hurt again. I went over to her room and she snuggled up to me five minutes after I met her, i just put my arm around herand played with her hair. She then constantly imed and texted me, etc. A day or two later i went over again and she fell asleep on my chest. The next night (last night) she was drunk and called me 8 times that she wanted to see me so i sat with her. when i got back she imed me that she needed a kiss next time. (ive only known her for three days). How do I know that shes not just rebounding from her bf and using me to comfort her for a while? What should I do?

Don't allow her to manipulate this situation in her favor. You don't want or need to get hurt. But neither does she. Ask her. Flat out. Challenge her to be honest. Make sure she's sober first. If she's not looking for anything serious and you are, tell her you just want to be friends. If you can handle being her friend, go for it. But don't let it go any further than cuddling. She doesn't sound quite stable and you'd be wise to just stay away. I mean seriously, a chick you've never seen or met im's you out of the blue to hang out with her? What's up with that?!?!? She is and don't do anything else. Next time she wants you to come over, tell her to get sober, get her head straight , get over the lost of her boyfriend, which seems to me like she shouldn't have too much trouble doing that. And when she's lucid and sober if she still wants to hang out with you, then you'll get back to her. She is using you full blast and you will get hurt.

Stay true to YOUR values, not hers. You are reluctant to get involved so quickly. Listen to that inner voice. Continue to behave like the gentleman you are, and continue to be her friend. When she's sober long enough to realize what a catch you are, then you can move forward.

She definitely needs a rebound guy. That's probably why she is moving so fast with you. If you don't want to be her rebound break it off. and if you do, just leave it.

it sounds like she's rebounding from her recent one. although, maybe she just wants to hang out to talk and get frustrations out from the guy. hang out with her and if she wants to start something, ask her if she is just wanting a fling and if so... say that you dont want to be that guy.
