Could be, but it could also just mean they're tired, many people live very hectic lives and don't always get enough sleep! Also, yawning also happens when we feel relaxed rather than bored-sleepy, so if you're just having a nice, chilled-out chat it could be a normal reaction too.

Yawning isn't necessarily a sign you're boring. It is a sign you're tired. People also yawn if they aren't getting enough oxygen. It's a automatic reflex. This usually happens when you're tired and your heart rate/breathing slows (which happens when you fall asleep). Yawning is the body's way of fighting off gong into a sleep state (among other things).
I didn't get any sleep last night and I'm doing it right now!

Honey, you would have to consider the person to determine what it means. Could be that the conversation has gone on longer than they want, could be they're really tired from something they've been doing or were in the middle of, or they're sending a message. I would personally think the last one since it would be very easy to "hide" a yawn over the phone. You know the individual. Would they be that rude toward you?

I don't think that you are a boring person. I think that the other person is bored with the conversation. People don't like to sit on the phone and listen to someone go on and on about their problems, their possessions, their children, their life, etc. If someone shows boredom with your conversation, switch the topic to THEM. Everyone loves talking about themselves. Try being a good listener. I doubt you will hear any yawns then.

While yawning has come to represent boredom in our culture, it isn't really caused by it. Yawning is the body's response to being tired, it is trying to bring more oxygen in to keep your brain awake. Also for some reason yawning causes other people to yawn.
I wouldn't worry so much about it.

Don't take this personal right away . LOL
There are several reasons that cause yawning.
To be tired ,
To be bored,
To be hungry,
Lack of Oxygen,
Or when we see another person yawn .
If that person does it again I would re-evaluate my connection with them. I find that not so cool to be yawned at .

They could be bored or they could be tired. I tend to yawn any time I slow down because I sleep very little. Don't take it personally.

People yawn because their body needs more oxygen. Usually it's related to being tired, because you don't breathe as deeply. More than likely it has nothing to do with you. They just needed more air.

No, it means they are tired. Life is busy these days...we are always running to do something. Work, school, errands, bills, cleaning house, grooming, cooking, blah, blah, blah. Life is tiring. And most people don't get enough sleep these days either, hence the ads for all sorts of sleep aids and more restful mattresses.
