Talks too much, student has lazy eye that will correct itself.

I still to this day wonder what the 2 have to do with each other.
Needless to say the lazy eye is still there and I talk too much.
I spend a lot of time telling parents and teachers that strabismus (lazy eye) doesn't self correct. I do many workshops on the issue. So I finally made my first grade teacher's statement somewhat relevant.

Why do I always feel compelled to tell you such personal information? Must be the fuzzy avatar you have!!

Good student, but does not play well with others.
I had a pony tail down to wy waist, and boys thought is was so cool to pull on my hair. I am nicer now [Promise!] but at that time I waited for recess to trip them at a full run, mock them at every oppirtunity and then, totally by accident, I discovered what an effect a dodge ball to the crotch had on the little tyrants. I got an "A" in every subject, except conduct, wherein the teacher said I was "spirited" and "liked to talk back." My father kept the report card and showed it to me last Christmas.

Apparently, I haven't changed much.

I remember my kindergarten teacher wrote that I compared myself to others and was interested in them 'evening it up for me'. That is a personality trait of mine, actually a flaw. As long as I stayed in my mind ahead of some others than I didn't have to worry. Is that competitiveness or laziness? Or both!

I couldn't remember that far back. I do know that my Mom always got mad at me when she read my card. I'd get punished for something.
It would likely be "kiwi is too shy and does not socialize". Or, Mom would tell me that my Bs and Cs were unacceptable, because her friend's daughter got straight As.
I hated report card day.

Teresa is a very bright and lovely young girl. She is a pleasure to have in my class. Excellent student.

(My first cousin was also in the same class with me and his mother would tell my mother that I was a Teacher's Pet, which I was not.)

Yeah I got that too. Bad penmanship.

In our school they had behaviors listed and you got a NUMBER for violations. I'd get 1s and 3s in some of those "bad" behavior areas.

In Middle School my PE teacher gave me my ONE and ONLY UNSATISFACTORY in COOPERATION because my side burns were below the center of my ear.

I am sure mine wrote "She is shy and sweet, does her work and sits still- but I wish she would interact more in class and speak up"

- I always sat in the back, and was very quiet. ( well as I got older I know I did )
