Except the last thing I want to see is for America to become a theocracy, yet I am a creationist. Trying to force people to become Christians has been tried before and it didn't work. If one doesn't become a Christian of one's own free will, then there's no other way to do so.

Any scientific result, whether about evolution, or geology, or astronomy is always questioned by other scientists in that field. Many times there are dissenting opinions. String theory was argued for many years and it still is.
