regular vegetable oil if you have it, or any other kind of oil for that matter... lightly grease the pan (make sure any excess is drained off the pan) and if you want .... powder coat the pan with flour.
also, if you need to put the oil/grease in the mix and want a lighter way or an alternative to oil in the future (only to go in the mix...) you can substitute applesauce instead of oil. Same measurements.

you best run out to the local and buy some pam, crisco or butter. that's the best advice anyone can give you. if you have veg oil you can use it - but - any other type of oil will impart a flavour to the brownies that will have your guests wondering"what was that i tasted?" in a not-so-pleasant manner. you could also use aluminum foil or parchment paper - but - the brownies will sticck to the paper/foil and might not look so wonderful after you attempt to remove them.

Shortening like crisco, bacon grease, margarine. Don't use oil, the brownies will burn and stick.

a little bit of oil should be fine. just rub some in the pan with a paper towel.... that's what i usually do to avoid a big glob of it right in the center of the pan and nowhere else.

I've often greased by baking dish with oil. Dust with a little flour even. IT wont hurt if the recipe doesn't call for it.

Do you have crisco?, or just wipe the pan with a paper towel that has veggie oil on it.

You could also line the bottom of the pan with wax paper.
