Hi! I'm Italian, and I can tell you we normally use bacon in cooking carbonara but...of course you can try and see how it tastes with tuna and chicken!

Carbonara calls for pancetta / bacon. Don't try to be over creative because food should be simple and the proven recipes are tried and true... there is no space to innovate.

It would work if you dont go to heavy on the tuna.

If its two flavors you like it will be fine.
