If you have pre-amp outputs for every channel you can get wireless speaker systems for each (most don't). There is a sending unit which modulates the signal to an FM frequency, and then transmits it to the speaker which demodulates it. These systems are not too expensive but they are very poor in quality. It causes digital sources to sound like radio, and the speakers are usually low in quality. Usually, people who opt for some wireless capability in their sound system just use this with the rear speakers. Still, the sound quality is poor. The best way to hide the rear speaker wire is to fish it through the walls. Installers can do this for you if you don't want to yourself. There are ways to make the cables and wires in the front stage as neat as possible but cables and wires go with the territory if you want good sound. Even the "wireless" speakers have power cords!

You can get wireless speakers for your stereo, but they are very expensive.

As for the rest of the connections to the TV, you want them with real cables to keep the bandwidth high. There will be nothing wireless with the bandwidth of these cables. Specifically an HDMI cable, as they have a 12 gb bandwidth. Thats 12 times the speed of a gigabit network running through actual network cables.

Yes, you can get wireless surround speaker systems. You can't get a 'good' one, though...

They all suffer from interference, break up and static, no matter how much you pay. No-one has yet made a decent wireless speaker setup.

If you want good quality sound, you will need cables, I'm afraid.

you can deffinatly get wireless speaker systems but its not soming you can just change about the system you have at the moment, you would have to get a wireless theater system. I allmost got one but decided against it because i was affraid i would get interfirance from all my other electronic stuff so i got a great sony wired one which is excelent.

As of yet, there's no technology capable of sending all the data for high quality TV wirelessly in your home. The amount of data required for TV quality is hundredrs of times more than audio. I beleive it is being developed, but not for the next few years. In the mean time, you will have to put with cables!
