Most Junkyards will only give you a few bucks for older vehicles, some even charge you since they have a lot fees for environmental hazzards they need to cover.

i dunno about the subaru, but the crx will fetch as least a grand on ebay, i know i was looking for one so dont give em to the junkjard, the give 50 or perhaps 100 bucks, rims amd tires allone sell for about 25 bucks so you do the math, a crx motor goes for about 1200 a tranny for about 500 ,yes they got expenses but are in the businiss to make money, and if you look it up under forbes, junkjards are THE most lucrative buisiniss since henry ford, if nothing else donate them to your local church or salvation army. a friend of mine once sold an old jeep cherokee at a salvage yard for 150 bucks next day i wend by and the truck ( with serious fuel line problems (gasleaks) and virtially no brakes) was siting upfront all nicle polished up with a 2500 dollar pricetag on it and the owner told me they retostored the truck over the last 3 weeks note thas was one day later., please do not support those ripp off artists with no concerns about prospective sellers but only money

I don't know what you mean by "pay the repossesion process." If the car is repossessed, you don't have it anymore. If you're talking about paying the car loan off, you have to do this before you can sell the car to anyone. If there is still money owed on the car, there will be a lien on the title, and the car is not transferrable to anyone until the lien is satisfied. Otherwise, the loan must be paid off at the time of sale, as with a trade-in or similar. If you owe less than the car is worth, then you can sell it with no money out of your pocket. If you owe more than the car is worth, you can still sell it as long as you pay the remainder of the loan (the amount not covered by the sale price of the car) at the time of sale.

If you take it to the right one, they will, but if they have that many on them , then you might only get about 200-300 hundred. You might get luckey and get a better deal on trading it in. At some car dealerships, they have a thing that might go on where they will not take less than a certain amount for any vehicle.

Yes, but you wont get what you want for them. I sold a good running car to a junk yard for 100 bucks. They usually go by weight. Start calling around, or ask your mechanic. Sometimes people just need a car to get by.
