It really should not matter. I knew a Caucasian woman who adopted her daughter from China. She said "for the first 2 weeks it was odd, like having an incredibly good looking boyfriend - then after that you forget about it and just see the person". I'm sure as Brad and Angie's kids grow up in the spotlight, people will find it normal, which is a good thing.

i agree is should not matter at all what colour skin you have or what race you are. No race or skin type is ever better than somebody of a different type, it is just ignorant small minded people with ignorant views of the world!

Angie and Brad (among others) are giving these children hope, love and a strong family unit which they were not getting before. Why should it matter that the children are of a different race? the important thing is that they now have a mummy and daddy who love and adore them.

there are some complications with any adoptions. the possibility that kids someday would ask if if they were adopted.

with mix races, this becomes more evident and inevitable. which is good or bad. the kids will face their own challenges, because everyone will know they are adopted.

but what angie and brad are doing is a noble thing. and we should not take it for more than it is, two people who want to help and love these kids.

Why should race matter? As long as a parent can provide a stable loving home for the child and provide for all their needs then why should the color of the skin or anything else like that matter.
Personally i think its wonderful that they have adopted several children!

Of course parents should be able to adopt a child of any race...but I do think of all the orphaned children of America that are without a loving family and parents of America are going to other countries and adopting there..but then again- when you fall in love with a child and are willing to adopt- then who's to say where that child is from is right/wrong....

It's illegal (in this country) to deny an adoption based upon the race of the prospective parents or the child one wishes to adopt. Anyone can adopt a child of any race. It shouldn't be an issue though I personally believe that the adoptive parents should give the child every opportunity to learn about and celebrate his ethnic heritage.

Every child needs a parent regardless of race. Just remember there is still racism in our world. People will continue to say negative things towards people who go outside of their race. So I say yes, parents should be able to adopt a child of any race.

It's doesn't matter what race the child is, if you can provide for the child then adopt. People who have negative things to say don't understand the love a child can bring to a home. Kids need parents who love then and are willing to provide for them. Whether they are black, white, Hispanic, Chinese, Asian, African they are children.

Yes they should. Love is NOT skin deep and even it were, the colour of it should never matter. Sometimes I think the word races should be removed from the dictionary. My sister and her husband are white and foster children. They adopted two years ago this little boy of 5. He is the cutest boy dark skin, beautiful brown eyes, a smile that lasts and lasts, black tight curly short hair and a heart of solid gold. Everyone one here just loves him dearly.

Race does not matter. It's up to the adoptive parents/parents to provide love & care for ANY child.
